Text on Panorama
This aerial panorama was photographed by Christopher Gjevre and features the Minneapolis downtown skyline, with its twin city, St. Paul, in the distance. Centered is the new Target Field, highlighting the Minnesota Twins baseball team in action. To the right of Target Field, with its natural grass roof, is the Target Center, home to the Minnesota Timberwolves. Visible on the left is the beautiful Mississippi River with its series of unique bridges. The historic Stone Arch Bridge, which was built in 1883, is located between the Upper and Lower St. Anthony Falls. The three tallest buildings in Minneapolis from right to left are IDS Center, Wells Fargo Center and Capella Tower.
