Text on Panorama
This panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, captures the action of the Toronto Maple Leafs playing on their home ice. Toronto has been a hockey town since the start, playing their first game on December 19, 1917, only one month after the National Hockey League® was formed. The club is one of the Original Six™ members of the NHL and was renamed the Maple Leafs on Valentine's Day 1927. As a result of winning over a dozen Stanley Cup® Championships, the Toronto Maple Leafs are one of the most successful franchises in the NHL and one of the toughest tickets to acquire in Canada.
