Bristol Motor Speedway Panoramic Race Picture

SKU: BMS5
This panorama of a NASCAR® Sprint Cup Series™ race at Bristol Motor Speedway was taken by Christopher Gjevre. The track, which sits on a parcel of land that was once a 100 acre dairy farm, is home to some of the best racing entertainment in the nation. With its famous high-banked half-mile track, Bristol is the fastest of the short tracks and drivers must bring a setup that allows the car to roll through the turns. In addition to its other distinct features, Bristol now boasts Colossus, the world’s largest outdoor center-hung video screen, which takes entertainment to a whole new level.

Bristol Motor Speedway Panoramic Picture - Night Aerial

SKU: BMS4
This aerial panorama of Bristol Motor Speedway was taken by Christopher Gjevre and features the first night race since the track was reconfigured. Changes were made to the track in response to fan requests and to return the Speedway to its iconic status – "the hottest ticket in motorsports." Located in Bristol, Tennessee, the Speedway was constructed in 1960 and held its first race the following year. The entrepreneurs who built the track fashioned the Speedway after Charlotte Motor Speedway, but opted for a smaller, more intimate setting and erected a half-mile facility. Despite its small size, Bristol is among the most popular tracks in NASCAR® and has been known as the "World's Fastest Half-Mile."

Bristol Motor Speedway was constructed in 1960 and quickly nicknamed "The World's Fastest Half-Mile." This is one of the most popular tracks in NASCAR auto racing, with its popularity not due to its short length, but largely from its unique steep banks, all-concrete surface and stadium seating. This has given it the distinction of being one of the loudest race tracks internationally.

The venue has a capacity of over 165,000 spectators, making it the fourth-largest sporting venue in the U.S. and eighth-largest in the world during races. Many popular races and events are held at the track throughout the year, including the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, Xfinity Series, Camping World Truck Series, NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series, ASA Late Model Series, and more.
