Renovated at the start of the 2014-15 season, McKale Memorial Center featured a brand-new court, a state-of-the art, high-definition scoreboard, LED lighting and plush seating for 14,700 fans. The Wildcats have a long and successful basketball program and, from 1985 to 2009, made 25 consecutive NCAA appearances. To date, Arizona men’s basketball continues to add to its impressive list of credentials including All-Americans, NBA Draft picks, Sweet Sixteens, Elite Eights, Final Fours and National Champions.

Arizona Stadium was built in 1928 with only 7,000 seats and has grown over the years to accommodate more than 56,000 plus fans. It is surrounded by the Santa Catalina Mountains, campus and the Tucson city skyline. It's a combination of old style charm and modern day conveniences. One of Arizona’s newest game day traditions, known as the Wildcat Walk, begins two hours before kickoff as the team heads south on foot toward Arizona Stadium along with the marching band, cheerleaders and mascots.

The opening of McKale Center in 1973 literally filled the upscale arena overnight and, today, seats 14,500 fans. Arizona has a long and rich basketball history, which came to prominence under former head coach Lute Olson, who took the Wildcats to their first Pac-10 title. From 1985 to 2009, the Wildcats made 25 consecutive NCAA appearances. While the NCAA did not begin organizing women's softball until 1982, the Arizona Wildcats officially began softball play in 1974. Arizona's first national championship season came in 1991, since then the Wildcats have won numerous national and conference championships and is one of the most successful in the history of the sport.
