Monte Carlo, Monaco Skyline Pictures

As a section of the city-state of Monaco, Monte Carlo panoramas show a picturesque city positioned along the French Riviera between the Mediterranean Sea and France. While the the ward of Monte Carlo is home to only about 3,500 residents, Monte Carlo skyline photos show one of the most densely populated countries in the world. Set against the backdrop of the Maritime Alps, Monte Carlo skyline pictures are unique in that any new development in the country must be on land reclaimed from the sea.

With so little space available, it is easy to understand why so much action often seen in Monte Carlo panoramas takes place in its yacht harbor. This is a beautiful setting in many Monte Carlo pictures, especially with new traffic brought to the country with its recently-completed cruise ship pier in 2003. The eastern part of Monte Carlo skyline photos is home to the quarter's only public beach, and many world-famous celebrities are often spotted along the city's coastal areas.

There are a number of luxury resorts and hotels to be seen throughout Monte Carlo panoramic pictures, many of which are internationally known. Some of these prestigious establishments to be seen in Monte Carlo pictures include the Hotel de Paris, the Cafe de Paris, and the Salle Garnier, which is home to the Monte Carlo Opera. Spotted on the western end of the quarter in Monte Carlo skyline photos is the world-famous Place du Casino, which has historically fueled the city-state's renown for extravagance and wealth. Monte Carlo photos may also feature the annual Monaco Grand Prix, which is one of the oldest Formula One races.

Featured in countless movies and TV shows, Monte Carlo panoramic pictures beautifully show off one of the jewels of the Mediterranean, making it easy to see why the city continues to be a destination for so many.
