This panorama of New York was taken by James Blakeway. It features a beautiful twilight view of Lower Manhattan across the East River. Prominently pictured in the panorama are the world famous Brooklyn Bridge and One World Trade Center, with its crowning spire installed on May 10, 2013, it brought the structure to its final pinnacle height of 1,776 feet. Designated a National Historic Landmark, the Brooklyn Bridge opened in 1883 and is one of the oldest suspension bridges in the United States. Also visible in the distance, in the midground on the far left, is the Statue of Liberty given to the United States as a gift from France.

Lower Manhattan, in which Wall Street is located, is known as the financial capitol of the United States. In the distant far left is the Statue of Liberty which was given to the United States as a gift from France. The Brooklyn Bridge, built in 1869, is the first steel-wire suspension bridge in the world. It spans the East River, linking the boroughs of the Manhattan and Brooklyn in New York City.
