Kansas City, Missouri Panoramic Picture - The Plaza

SKU: KCP3
This twilight panorama, taken by Christopher Gjevre, features Kansas City’s Country Club Plaza, often referred to as The Plaza. This 55-acre site was the first shopping center in the world designed to accommodate shoppers arriving by automobile. Designed in 1922, it is an outdoor museum featuring Spanish architecture and European art. Thanksgiving evening, thousands of visitors officially welcome the holiday season at the annual lighting of this upscale shopping district. Tens of thousands of multi-colored lights, spanning dozens of miles, outline the buildings and creates a magical wonderland that continues through mid-January.

Kansas City, Missouri City Skyline Wall Decor

Our Kansas City skyline pictures feature the largest city in Missouri, home to 2 million residents. The city stretches across the Missouri-Kansas border, and was the site of many Civil War battles.

Art Deco is the strongest architectural influence seen in Kansas City skyline wall decor. Its most iconic destinations include Bartle Hall Convention Center, Kaufman Center of the Performing Arts, and One Kansas City Place. In addition, this structure reaches 42 stories and is the tallest building in Kansas City panoramas.

Perhaps the most iconic destination in Kansas City skyline wall art is "The Country Club Plaza", also known as "The Plaza." As the first suburban shopping district in the U.S., this outdoor museum is a feature of Kansas City panoramic pictures and features Spanish architecture and European art.

Famous for its influence in jazz and blues music - as well as barbecue and Southern cuisine - Kansas City skyline prints display a regional destination for the arts and upscale shopping.
