Located in the southern Sierra Nevada region of California, Sequoia National Park panoramic pictures capture not only the highest area in the U.S., but also the park's world-famous sequoia trees. Home to five of the ten largest trees in the world, Sequoia National Park panoramas are from the pristine mountainous old-growth forests shared by Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.
General Grant Grove is the location of many Sequoia National Parks panoramas, as it is the location of the park's giant sequoia trees, with some over 3,000 years old. Geographically isolated from the rest of the park, the giant sequoias are naturally protected within the area. With most of these towering trees within a mere half-mile long trail, there are a number of locations within the park which provide excellent panoramic views of Sequoia National Park.
