Frenzied fans set league records for the team's first home games in new city of Winnipeg, with the first year's season tickets selling out within minutes.

In recognition to the Royal Canadian Air Force, the Jets logo displays a fighter jet against the familiar maple leaf symbol associated with Canadian tradition.
